Prince Harry was honored on Jan. 19 during the 21st annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Beverly Hills for his work in air space while in the British Army.

The Duke of Sussex, accepted his award while wearing a black tuxedo. The honor was presented by John Travolta, a pilot and the Official Ambassador of Aviation.

Prince Harry took the opportunity to have some fun with Travolta, making a mention of when he danced with Princess Diana at the White House in 1985, according to PEOPLE.

Harry, who was one at the time of the dance, joked that the actor “was dining out on that.”

“But look at us now, it’s great,” he added during his speech. “So if we’re not going to dance together, we’ll fly together.”

The British royal continued, discussing the first time he went up in the air with his dad, King Charles III.

“I think I was maybe seven or eight-years-old in a Wessex helicopter, and I jumped into it so excited, and then my father jumped in behind the controls and I was terrified,” he told the awards show crowd.

Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, was absent from the awards as one of their children was reportedly sick.
