
After nearly 30 years in the business, Salma Hayek is officially a Hollywood star.
The 54-year-old celebrated the news that she will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by sharing an epic throwback photo in a glamorous plunging gown.
The snap shows Hayek in the sizzling low-cut dress on a red carpet with a shocked expression on her face.
The “Eternals” star explained why she believed the photo perfectly encapsulated her elation over the industry accolade.
“Today I am combining a #tbt picture with very recent news, because this image represents how surprised and happy I was a few minutes ago when my team showed me the announcement that I am getting the star ⭐️ in the Hollywood walk of fame!” she captioned the post. “Thank you to the fans for their support through the years.”
She also included the same caption in Spanish.
The Oscar-nominated actress was revealed to be one of the 38 members of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2022, who will have their star permanently placed on Hollywood Boulevard.
Other film celebrities who will be receiving their stars are Francis Ford Coppola, Macaulay Culkin, Willem Dafoe, James Hong, Helen Hunt, Michael B. Jordan, Regina King, Ray Liotta, Ewan McGregor, Adam McKay, Jason Momoa, Tessa Thompson and the late Carrie Fisher.
In the television category, Byron Allen, Greg Berlanti, Ricky Gervais, Peter Krause, Bob Odenkirk, Holly Robinson-Peete, Norman Reedus, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jean Smart, Ming-Na Wen and Kenan Thompson will also be bestowed with the honor.
The exact date for Hayek's induction ceremony has not been announced.
