Everyone has different opinions when it comes to the NFL Draft and how teams did.
For instance, The Athletic ranked the Patriots 17th on Wednesday, but then in CBS Sports' rankings Thursday, they Patriots came in at No. 1.
CBS really liked Mac Jones, as he was its No. 11 overall prospect and said New England was his best fit besides San Francisco. Christian Barmore was CBS' favorite pick, while Ronnie Perkins was its best value pick for the team.
It is worth noting CBS says these rankings were not who had the best draft compared to who had the worst draft, rather where players were selected compared to where they were projected to go ahead of the draft.
"We're comparing where he had each draft pick graded with where they were actually selected," the story reads.
The Patriots selected eight players overall and made one trade, moving up in Round 2 to grab Barmore.
