It was another rough day for Isaiah Wynn. And CBS play-by-play man Kevin Harlan appeared to notice.

Midway through the Patriots' 38-15 win Sunday over the Browns, Wynn got benched for Marcus Cannon after committing a false start in the red zone and allowing Myles Garrett to zip past him for a strip-sack. When Wynn returned for a brief moment in the fourth quarter, Harlan seemed to acknowledge his struggles.

“Isaiah Wynn back at right tackle,” he said. “They’re rotating him. It’s a turnstile there.”

It was a brief remark, and without a transcript of the broadcast, it’s difficult to discern exactly what Harlan said. But after multiple viewings, it seems like those were his words.

NFL play-by-play people are busy: they call the action, introduce topics and quickly have to discern between players. It’s pretty remarkable that Wynn’s play at right tackle was so bad, Harlan felt compelled to mention it.

Once again, Wynn was the Patriots’ lowest-rated offensive lineman, according to PFF.

With Trent Green largely stating the obvious, Sunday’s telecast wasn’t filled with incisive commentary. But for a few seconds, Harlan picked up the slack.
