The Patriots continue to do as much homework as they can on the top quarterbacks in the NFL Draft.

According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Patriots will be sending Eliot Wolf and Dave Ziegler to North Dakota State for Trey Lance's second pro day.

The Patriots had national scout Matt Groh at his first pro day. These appear to be the three people leading the way when it comes to draft prep for New England.

This shouldn't come as much of a surprise, as the Patriots are gathering as much information as they can to help with the decision when it comes to potentially trading up to select a quarterback in the draft.

Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson figure to go No. 1 and 2 overall and then another QB will be selected at No. 3 by the 49ers, so the Patriots will be left with deciding between Mac Jones, Justin Fields and Lance.

Lance only played in one game this past fall, but in 2019 he completed 67% of his passes for 2,786 yards, 28 touchdowns and zero interceptions.

If the Patriots do not trade up, they will select at No. 15 overall.
