FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots have two new injuries ahead of Sunday's Week 2 game against the Jets to deal with.

Tight end Jonnu Smith (hip) and kicker Quinn Nordin (abdomen) were new additions to Thursday's injury report. Relating to Nordin, perhaps he could land on injured reserve, which will open a full-time roster spot on the 53-man roster for Nick Folk.

Smith's situation could be related to the hard flip and subsequent fall he took against Miami.

Kyle Van Noy and Trent Brown both missed practice for the second straight day, while Ronnie Perkins and Yodny Cajuste remain limited.

Here's the full Thursday injury report.
