Report: Patriots trade young wide receiver to Saints

Former second-round draft pick Ja'Lynn Polk's time in New England has ended, according to a report from The Athletic's Dianna Russini.

New England traded the wide receiver and a seventh-round draft pick to the New Orleans Saints for a 2027 sixth-round pick, Russini posted on X.

Polk is on season-ending injured reserve. He appeared in 15 games last season and recorded 87 yards on 12 receptions. The Patriots have already parted ways with the other receiver they drafted in 2024: Javon Baker was released at the end of the summer.
