TD Garden is not messing around when it comes to COVID-19.

All guests 12 years and older will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a qualifying negative COVID-19 test for entry, the Garden announced Wednesday. That includes Bruins games, Celtics games, concerts and any other events.

The policy goes into effect on Sept. 30, the same day as the Bruins’ first home preseason game.

Additionally, Boston’s public health order requiring all guests over the age of 2 to wear a mask inside TD Garden, except while actively eating or drinking, will remain in effect until further notice.

According to the Boston Globe, the new rules will apply to everyone setting foot in the arena, including fans, players, coaches, refs, band members, vendors and ushers.

"Full vaccination" means 14 days must have passed since the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.

The Globe reports that acceptable negative tests include the antigen test or molecular/PCR test, while at-home rapid antigen tests will not be accepted. The timeframe for when those tests must have administered will be announced at a later date.
