The Orlando Pride are undergoing some rebuilding and it appears (at least according to rumors on the internet) that they could be getting some much needed help from the Portland Thorns.
If you don't follow sports at all, basically the Orlando Pride and the Portland Thorns seem to be negotiating a trade deal.
Orlando could recieve 1 or 2 players in exchange for our first round NWSL draft pick.
One of those names is Emily Sonnett who helped the USWNT to victory in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup!
Emily would add much needed defensive power to the backline alongside Ali Krieger, this move could prove to be lethal for opponents with such a potent defense.
Alex Morgan will most likely miss most of the season due to pregnancy.
Again this is pure rumor at this point but it could help boster the Pride for a better 2020 season.
