The fine folks at WalletHub.com updated their annual list of the best and worst states to drive in and we have a new winner. Two years ago, Texas was #1, then it was Oregon last year.  However, Oregon is way down in 16th place, and Iown is in the top spot. But why Iowa? Well, they base the rankings on traffic, commute times, gas prices, and about 30 other factors. Florida came in at #15 on their list, but that must not include I-4!

The ten best states for driving this year are:

Iowa

Tennessee

North Carolina

Texas

Nebraska

Georgia

Virginia

Indiana

Arkansas

Alabama

The ten worst states for driving are:

Hawaii (Their 3rd year in a row ranked last.)

Rhode Island

Washington

California

Colorado

Maryland

West Virginia

New Jersey

Alaska

Montana

Side note: Mississippi has the easiest rush hours to drive in and California has the worst.
