I'm sure it's safe to say that most of us have a difference of opinion when it comes to defining the relationship. Are we dating? Are we in a relationship? What's the difference? Well, a new survey from YouGov asked what counts as being in a relationship and here are some of their results:
1. If you've been dating for a year or more, 84% say that means you're in a relationship.
2. Dating for six months or more, 72% say that means you're in a relationship.
3. If you've agreed not to date other people, 70%.
4. Both of you have said "I love you," 60%. How is that number not higher?
5. You have your own drawer at their place, 58%.
6. You've changed your Facebook status to "in a relationship," 40%. Again, if you say you're in a relationship, why isn't that percentage higher? LOL!
7. You've been intimate, 17%.
8. You've been on at least three dates, 8%.
9. You've been to their house, 8%. (Whoa! Slow your roll, HAHA! I came by to say hello and now we're in a relationship?)
10. You've been on a single date, 5% of people say that means you're in a relationship. Really?
