Kate Winslet is really proving she has what it takes to transform into the Na'vi. Not that she needs to, she has teamed up with James Cameron since Titanic, to really 'dive' into her role as Ronal.
She recently had an interview with Hollywood Reporter and said, “I had to learn how to free-dive to play that role in Avatar, and that was just incredible...My longest breath hold was seven minutes and 14 seconds, like crazy, crazy stuff.”

If you've been following Avatar's social media feeds, you'll know that they have been sharing many behind the scenes photos from the set. Avatar 2, is said to introduce a new Na'vi clan, the Metkayina, who live by the ocean's reefs. Ronal is a part of that clan, the sea and reef people.
Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana will return to the sequels, and Avatar 2 will really focus on the children of the characters they play. Sigourney Weaver is also returning as well!
Avatar 2 is planning to be released 11 years after the original.... on December 16, 2022.
