I can say we've definitely come a long way, I don't think I'd go by what's popular... at the same time, I wouldn't name my child after a fruit. I also wouldn't name my child with different letters.... Do you know how hard it is for my best friend to find anything with her name on it? 'Cristen'. It all has to be custom and more expensive. I mean I get why parents do it though.
