Did you know that more than 140,000 K–12 students living in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Lake Counties are food insecure? These children rely on their school's free and reduced-price meal programs for nourishment during the week but are left without affordable, healthy food on Saturdays and Sundays. Who will feed these kids this weekend?
Join us on Saturday, July 25, at 11:00 a.m. for the inaugural Race to Feed, where local businesses, community groups, and students will gather at the Center for Health & Wellbeing. This high-energy, friendly competition will challenge teams of up to 10 participants to go head-to-head, packing 5,000 bags of food. Every bag packed will help provide local children with the vital nutrition they need over the weekend.
All packed food will be distributed through local Blessings in a Backpack program sites, helping ensure thousands of children are fueled and ready for the start of the 2026–2027 school year.
