Weddings are undeniably expensive, especially the meals. So when someone fails to show up without notice, it can be frustrating. A tweet is going viral where one couple is attempting to recover some of those lost funds. The tweet shows an invoice from the couple asking for $240 for being a "No Call, No Show Guest."
It reads "This invoice is being sent you because you confirmed seat(s) at the wedding reception during final headcount. The amount above is the cost of your individual seats. Because you didn't call or give us proper notice that you wouldn't be in attendance, this amount is what you owe us for paying for your seat(s) in advance."
There is no indication that the no-show guest plans to repay the newlyweds. Is this fair of the couple to ask or is it tacky?
