Do people really like sweet potato casserole this much? I'm not sure I believe this, LOL!
A new study by Zippia looked at Google Trends data to figure out which Thanksgiving side dish is the most popular in every state. As far as the results, might not be what you'd expect.
Mashed potatoes were the most popular, winning 10 states. OK, I can see that.
Stuffing or dressing, depending on what you call it, came in second, winning eight states.
After that, there was a two-way tie, with mac and cheese and green bean casserole each winning seven states. But what I don't understand is sweet potato casserole winning Florida. Really? Sure, I like it, but is it really more popular than stuffing or mashed potatoes?
