Your New Year Resolution Likely Will End on This Day

That Didn't Last Long.

We're six whole days into the new year, how is your resolution going (if you made one)? Whether it's to eat better, save money or spend less time on social media, odds are it will end soon. According to a study, the average person will stick with their resolution for 36 days before abandoning it. That puts you at February 6th, one month from today.

Now there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed about if you do end up giving up on yours before the year is over. I am probably 0/25 lifetime on New Year's Resolutions, and they've all been diet related. That's why I no longer make a resolution, I simply use the new year as a good starting point to reset and start eating better after the brutal holiday stretch. After the toll that 2020 took on all of us, it's not a bad idea. For a good 6 months there pretty everything I put in my body started with a "Mc" and came with a giant Coke. Stress eating is a real thing.

So whether your resolution last one year or one hour, I think it's safe to say that we are all in for a better year in 2021. Happy new year!
