A cross-country tour can be grueling on an artist's vocal chords, so it's imperative that they rest them as much as possible. As rapper/singer sensation The Kid Laroi ("Stay", "Without You", "A Thousand Miles") makes his way into Orlando for a show at the House of Blues, I was scheduled to do an in-person interview with him prior to him going on stage. However, it was decided that he would forego any interviews to get some much needed vocal rest.
I totally get it, but that doesn't change the fact that I'd written up a whole bunch of questions to ask him. Instead of just throwing them away, I decided to have my wife Lauryn stand in as a replacement The Kid Laroi. Here's how that went:
