If you wanted to play along with a popular jingle of the season, just know that it will cost you $45,523.00.

“The 12 Days of Christmas” is one of our favorite holiday sing-alongs but have you ever wondered how much it would cost to see these lyrics out?

Lucky for us…someone has. Here is the breakdown:

12 drummers drumming. $3,267.00.
I’d like to know if there is an upcharge for the “drumming” part because technically that’s what drummers do. They drum. It’s not like they’re showing up with drums to not drum.

11 pipers piping. $3,021.00.
I googled “pipers” and came up empty handed. My guess is that it might cost a little more due to pipers being difficult to find. Again, once you find the pipers is there a discount for piping?

10 lords a leaping. $13,980.00.
Me: “Alexa, where can I find 10 lords.”
Alexa: "Girl it took you your entire adulthood to find a good man, so calm down."

9 ladies dancing. $8,308.00.
We def have some options here. Some more expensive than others.

8 maids a milking. $58.00.
I really do enjoy almond milk so this could get quite entertaining.

7 swans a swimming. $13,125.00.
7 swans in my bathtub seems slightly snug, but ok.

6 geese a laying. $720.00.
Fun fact: Geese are capable of flying 1,500 miles IN A day.(Yet they insist on walking across the street.)

5 gold rings. $1245.00.
I can actually get down with this. Let my present-givers know.

4 calling birds. $600.00.

3 french hens. $319.00.

2 turtle doves. $600.00.

A partridge in a pear tree. ( Did you sing that part? I did.) $280.00.

Last and final thought: Seriously with the birds!

Me: “Alexa, how much to buy a bird sanctuary?”

Alexa: “120,000.00.”
