Luckily, there wasn’t a cat walk involved too.
Ewan McGregor’s daughter, Clara, recently proved her bark is bigger than a dog’s bite after she got bit in the face by a dog, but managed to hit the red carpet of her film’s premiere the same day. And she made the after-party, too!
The good-spirited actress posted a series of Instagram pics of herself in the emergency room and traipsing the carpet --- dressed in Fendi no less -- with bloody cuts and big smiles beaming. Oh, and an understandable middle finger shot too.
Her caption reads, “When a dog bite lands you in the ER 30 mins before the red carpet.”
Her fans added loads of statements of support.
One added, “Soo cute wow!” while others chimed in with, “Get well soon.”
Some more famous friends had their say, too. “Black-ish” star Liz Jenkins added, “Oh nooo! still a stunner. But I’m so sorry that happened.”
Star Jeremy White (“Shameless”) commented, “Looks tough.”
The pooch impediment happened on the day Clara was to go to the premiere of her new film, “The Birthday Cake,” which she also co-produced and which co-stars her famous father.
As Page Six says, Clara and her father appear to have made amends since she publicly shamed him in 2019 for leaving her mother, Eve Mavrakis, for his “Fargo” co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
The mob-centered “The Birthday Cake” arrives in theaters and On Demand this Friday, June 18.
