Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have said that reports of their split have been greatly exaggerated, and that the celebrity pair are fighting to stay together.
J.Lo and A-Rod both told TMZ, “All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things." The outlet also reported that what the couple is working through has nothing to do with a third party.
On Friday, Page Six reported that the celebrity couple split ways after a two-year engagement.
Just last month, Lopez posted stunning photos of the couple embracing in the Dominican Republic, while she was on location for her upcoming film, Shotgun Wedding. Plus, earlier this week reports of the couple’s twice-delayed wedding were presuming that the wedding was back on track.
Despite initial reports of the demise of the Latin supercouple's relationship, sources insist they are still together.
"They never officially broke up and talked about it but are still together," a souce close to both Lopez and Rodriguez told People. "They hit a rough patch. But were not broken up."
After dating for two years, the Hustlers actress and the former New York Yankee got engaged in March 2019.
The duo have been sharing a home with their blended families. Lopez shares 13-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Rodriguez has two daughters, Ella, 12, and Natasha, 16, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
The "Waiting for Tonight" singer recently opened up about having to postpone her wedding to Rodriguez twice due to the ongoing pandemic.
"We had planned what we really, really wanted to do, [but] I don’t know if we’ll be able to re-create that," she told Elle. "We canceled it, and since then we haven’t really talked about it. There’s no rush. We want to do it right when we can do it. We just have to wait to see where the world lands."
