Khloe Kardashian is wishing her “best friend” Tristan Thompson a happy 30th birthday.
The 36-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star posted a loving tribute to the NBA player on social media.
“The ones that are meant to be are the ones who go through everything that is designed to tear them apart and they come out even stronger than they were before,” she wrote alongside a photo of the pair with their 2-year-old daughter, True Thompson.
“Thank you for showing me everything you said you would. For the father you are. For the best friend I have in you,” she added.
Khloe assured her boyfriend that the best is yet to come by concluding: "Welcome to 30! I can't wait for all of the memories. This is when life just starts getting good!"
Other members of the Kardashian clan also celebrated Thompson on his milestone birthday.
"Happy Birthday Tristan!!!! Wishing you the most magical, amazing day!!! You are an amazing son, brother, dad, friend, partner and uncle Tristan to all the kids and we love you very much!!!!!" Kris Jenner wrote.
Kim Kardashian acknowledged that while things between them haven’t always been good, she was “proud” to call him her “brother.”
“I know we’ve been through it but we came out stronger and closer and I’m just grateful that Khloe has a bestie in you! You’re a great dad, friend and dancer! Live it up! Have the best birthday and enjoy every minute of this life,” she wrote on Instagram.
Khloe and Tristan, who began dating in 2016, have had their fair share of ups and downs.
After welcoming their daughter in December 2017, they split shortly after his infidelity came to light.
The duo reconciled in August 2020 and have been trying to expand their family despite Tristan’s recent move to Boston to play for the Celtics.
In the most recent trailer for the final season of the Kardashian reality show, the couple opened up about their desire to have another child.
In the brief clip, Khloe states: "I just feel like it's now time to have another kid."
A source previously told E! News that the couple are “on the same page” about trying for another baby.
"Khloe knows the value of siblings and growing up in a house full of kids and she wants that for True," the source revealed, adding, "It's something they have been working on for a while."
The reality star also recently opened up to actress Sarah Hyland in the Lady Parts digital series via People about the process of making embryos.

“We realized that my eggs aren’t strong enough to be frozen. They should be mixed immediately with sperm to make embryos,” she shared in the open conversation. “So I actually have made embryos.”
She admitted the COVID-19 pandemic definitely interrupted her plans to have more kids.
“With COVID, finding this whole fertility process, if you do need assistance in fertility, it’s much more challenging during COVID. They say, ‘If you wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans.’ So the one time I’m actually really trying to plan, God is saying, ‘Uh uh, you can’t make your plans like this!’” she shared.
“My plan’s been a little delayed,” she said, adding, “I definitely do want more kids. I have so many brothers and sisters. I think it’s such a blessing — especially during these times — to have a family member or people that you can play with and rely on and just have a buddy through life.”
