NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Former President Barack Obama on Monday released a playlist of “memorable” songs from his administration to mark the release of his newest book.
Obama’s “A Promised Land” playlist features 20 songs, including Aretha Franklin’s “The Weight,” Beyoncé’s “Halo,” The Beatles’ “Michelle” and Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours.”
“A Promised Land,” his latest memoir, will be available on Tuesday.
“Music has always played an important role in my life — and that was especially true during my presidency,” he wrote on Twitter.
“In honor of my book hitting shelves tomorrow, I put together this playlist featuring some memorable songs from my administration,” he added. “Hope you enjoy it.”
