Vacations are supposed to be relaxing, but far too often venturing into a new surrounding leads to trouble.
A group of women learned that the hard way recently when a beach trip quickly turned into a shark encounter.
The women were out in the ocean relaxing on a floatie when all of a sudden they noticed they were being circled by a pack of sharks, and luckily someone got it all on video.
As seen in the now viral clip, the three women look stunned as they notice the group of sharks beneath them.
“I was like ‘Lord protect us! If it’s time for us to go, it’s time for us to go. Just protect us,’” said one of the women in the video, Qyuston Eubanks.
According to the New York Post, the incident occurred at Pensacola beach over Memorial Day weekend.
Luckily for the women, boaters began yelling out “shark!” or else they might not have noticed the seven hammerheads underneath their floatie.
Many online were shocked at how close the sharks came to the women. Next time, they may just stick to staying on the beach.
