While Post Malone recently revealed he’s been engaged for two years, to his yet to be publicly identified fiancée, that wasn’t the first time he’d asked, and once you hear the story, you’ll agree it totally checks.

If you’re here then you already know Posty’s not known for his conservative behavior, but rather his love of Bud Light. So when he recently told Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper about having to propose to his fiancé twice because the first time he was too intoxicated, well, it made total sense.
During a trip to Las Vegas, “I had lost a significant amount of money at the table,” Post shared. "We go upstairs and I'm off my rocker hammered and I was like, 'Hey, you wanna marry me?' I got a ring and all this stuff. And she said 'no.'”
Luckily his fiancée gave him a second chance to pop the big question. ”She's like, ‘Ask me tomorrow’ and I was like, ‘Alright.’ And then I did and I was sober and it was nice.”
Making sure to reiterate that they didn’t marry in Vegas and that “it was just a proposal,” Post did go on to speak about the connection he and his lady share, noting he always “knew" she was right for him.
“I could tell... her heart is so massive. I've always wanted kids and a big family. And I could tell she was going to be a really good mama. And she's like, No. 1 mom in the f***ing universe," he shared.
Other than accepting his proposal and being the mother of his first child, Post also credited his fiancée with helping him end his former alcohol dependence. “I just have super beautiful people around me, and I met a really beautiful person that made me feel like a human being again... She saved my f***ing life — it's pretty epic," he said, right before admitting that there would likely be a fair amount of drinking at his upcoming wedding, mentioning something about an “ice luge for brew.”
