"When was the last time you had a decent date? Tell the truth."
New Jersey-born actor and singer Taye Diggs found himself a match from almost a world away in Javin Hope, a real estate agent from Hawaii on The Celebrity Dating Game this week.

Taye started off questioning his three hidden contestants Javin, Arielle, and Tofy by asking them to describe the word love, the "cringiest" things they have done for someone they cared about, and more. Singer Michael Bolton also sang a clue-filled version of “You Are So Beautiful” which also helped give away Taye's identity to all the contenders. "That was awesome," he told Bolton. "If I was white you would see I'd be blushing," he added, while host Zoey Deschanel reminded him that "we don't know anything about you yet."
After three rounds of questioning, the 50-year-old actor picked Javin as his date but not before it was revealed that Taye knew Arielle without saying how, offering only "it's a long story.” After just the first round, Taye asked Arielle if she could guess who he was and she told him yes, point-blank. “It's a small town,” said host Zoey. "That's how she knew your voice.”
Later on, Taye asked Javin to specifically walk them through their fantasy honeymoon night together. Javin told him that after their consummation business was out of the way that they would simply relax, watch the sunset, and "just chill." He was more than impressed.
Seems like Taye had quite a good time catching up with Arielle and getting to know Javin. As for pediatric nurse Tofy, she may need to think about taking a vacation to find her own Winston.
The Celebrity Dating Game airs Monday's at 10PM on ABC.
