And while only a select group of individuals get to go home with a coveted golden gramophone, the time honored tradition will see that the performers and presenters 2024 GRAMMYs will get to take home a prize of their own — the infamous GRAMMY swag bag filled with lavishly extravagant goodies.
According to swag veteran and Distinctive Assets founder Lash Fary, who has curated the GRAMMY Awards gift bag for the past 25 years, this year the Recording Academy bags are valued at $36,000, filled with 68 brands and items, some of which are from female-owned, minority-owned or family-owned businesses, which is “something he loves to see.”
In a statement, Fary said, “It has been a privilege and honor to have been a small part of music’s biggest night for 25 years. I believe our gifts are so well received because they range from functional to fabulous while embracing inclusivity and philanthropy.”
Going into the night with a total of 145 pre-prepared bags, so “if you’re a presenter, or sing a song if you’re a performer, a gift goes into your vehicle as you’re leaving the venue,” Fary shared.
Distinctive Assets is also mounting a gifting lounge, presented by Miage Skincare, that will be open for three days of rehearsals. Available in the lounge will be be Aiper, a cordless robotic pool cleaner; Auro Wellness Glutaryl health and longevity bundles; Cate Brown luxury sustainable throw pillows; top-rated Chilean wines from Frontera; heritage jewelry from Grossé; the Nap Bar’s Better Sleep Box; Oneisall all-in-one pet grooming vacuum blow dryer; Oxygenetix’s oxygenating foundation plus deluxe makeup accessories’ vegan leather jackets and cruelty-free outerwear from PETA x Noize; and THOR Kitchen welcome packages.
As for what’s in the luxury gift bags, the wide range of goodies include a vegan beverage product from 1MD Nutrition, Mitchell S. Jackson’s book Fly: The Big Book of Basketball Fashion from Artisan Books, a portable, antimicrobial seats for personal items like purses from BAGCEIT, Banila Co. skincare, bird feeders, and portable blenders.
One of Fary’s top picks this year are the Dyson Zone Headphones, which retail for $699.99. Not only are they noise-canceling and can last up to 50 hours of audio-only run time, but also have a built-in air filtration attachment. "It’s super cool, and I’ve never seen anything like it,” Fary said of the item.
The list goes on to include; footwear, products from EpicLight Beauty, exclusive access to the VIP life from FLY LYFE, mini Furby Furblets electronic toys, beauty products by Garnier and Goodal, and red light therapy by Helight.
