· Harry Styles releases his new album “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” this Friday.
· The project marks his first full album since 2022’s Grammy winning “Harry’s House.”
· The record was created with longtime collaborator Kid Harpoon and is expected to lean into a disco influenced pop sound.
· While promoting the album, Harry is also speaking publicly for the first time about the death of his One Direction bandmate Liam Payne.
· In a new interview with Apple Music, Harry said even talking about Liam is difficult because grief becomes complicated when millions of fans also feel connected to the same person.
· He explained that it can feel strange when people expect you to show your grief publicly, saying it sometimes feels like others “own part of your grief.”
· Liam Payne died on October 16, 2024 at age 31 after falling from the balcony of his hotel room.
· Harry remembered Liam as “a super special person” with “the kindest heart who just wanted to be great.”
· He also said Liam’s death led him to reflect while making the new album and that the best way to honor friends who pass away is to live your life to the fullest.
