·Taylor Swift is officially part of the Toy Story universe. Her new original song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” was written for Toy Story 5 and is inspired by Jessie.

·The song is already getting attention because it brings Taylor back to her country roots, which feels fitting for Jessie, the beloved cowgirl from the Pixar franchise.


·Taylor co-wrote and produced the track with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff. The two last worked together on The Tortured Poets Department.

·Taylor said writing for Jessie felt like a musical departure and a return home at the same time. She also shared she has loved Toy Story since she was five years old.

·The song comes in three versions: the original, acoustic, and piano editions. The acoustic and piano versions are available exclusively on CD through Taylor’s website.

·The fan theories started weeks ago after Toy Story-style “TS” billboards popped up and Taylor’s site briefly switched to the franchise’s famous cloud wallpaper.

·Toy Story 5 hits theaters June 19, which also happens to be the 20th anniversary of Taylor’s debut single, “Tim McGraw.”

·And this week got even bigger for Taylor. Forbes now lists her net worth at $2 billion, making her the richest female musician in history.
