·Bruno Mars will be honored with a Las Vegas Strip parade on April 10, celebrating his impact on the city and the launch of his new tour
·The parade starts at Bellagio and moves down Las Vegas Boulevard past Fountains of Bellagio, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, ARIA Resort & Casino, and Park MGM before ending at Toshiba Plaza outside T-Mobile Arena
·Park Avenue will be renamed Bruno Mars Drive, placing him alongside Vegas legends like Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr.
·The ceremony includes a proclamation from Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson and a ceremonial state flag from Governor Joe Lombardo
·Mars will also make a charitable donation to a local nonprofit as part of the celebration
·His Las Vegas history includes his 2013 debut at MGM Grand Garden Arena and a residency at Dolby Live that has drawn more than 800,000 fans
·The event doubles as the kickoff for his world tour, The Romantic Tour, which starts this Friday night at Allegiant Stadium
·The parade begins at 1 p.m. and the street renaming ceremony starts around 1:30 p.m.
