It’s not completely surprising that quasi-sex symbol, David Duchovny, might be in a steamy scene in a movie.

But this particular saucy vignette involved the “X-Files” actor pretending to make whoopee with the director’s wife!
In a recent interview on “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” Duchovny detailed the awkward experience while working on Judd Apatow’s latest film, “The Bubble.”
As Yahoo Entertainment reported, while the scene with Apatow’s wife, actress Leslie Mann, did not involve nudity, it was definitely a sultry situation, and involved characteristically Apatow-ian humor too, just to make it more complicated.
"It's in a kitchen, it's at a restaurant,” Duchovny laid out, “and we're kind of blocked by everything. Nothing sexy about it. All clothes are basically on. And I’m behind Leslie, and I said to Judd, 'Hold on.' We're about to roll. I said, 'Hold on. Judd, can you give me a tempo?' You know, ‘cause he’s a comedy master and I know he knows the funniest f*** tempo."
Apatow went right in and showed Duchovny how to do it on set, the "Californication" star shared. Then Duchovny proceeded to mimic the moves right there on Corden’s couch!
Unfortunately, we’ll probably never see the awkward scene, as it was eventually cut from the final film. Though another sex scene did survive, so Duchovny fans have that to look forward to.
