While it might seem like you just flipped to any given page of a 2003 tabloid, ’tis not the case. This is very much a Bennifer update, and just another lovely reminder that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have rekindled their romance.

And even though Jen and Ben’s blossoming bond is just at its beginning stages, whether they’re taking a week-long romantic vacation to Montana together, or being caught by the paps inside the same car, sending the world into an melted down, the two seem to be having fun, and we’re here for it.
Also here for it, Ben’s beloved Boston Red Sox. The baseball team (well, the organization’s social media manager) took to TikTok to relay a yearning message to the talented triple-plus threat, “To the girl on the Monster… we will never forget you.” Set to an instrumental version of Zara Larsson's "Never Forget You,” the caption simply read, “Miss you, J-Lo.” The Monster is a reference to a section of Fenway nicknamed the Green Monster, and the team's furry mascot pictured with Lopez.
While the whole move is bold in itself, probably the most savage part is that the footage isn’t that much of a throwback. But of J.Lo attending a Red Sox game in July 2019, with her then fiancé Alex Rodriguez, who was there to broadcasted for Sunday Night Baseball. And suddenly we care about sports.
Although to some it might seem like it didn’t take long for Jen and Ben to slide into whatever number base a rekindled romance is (sports? amiright?), well it's because it didn't. Clearly the Red Sox took a page from Ben's playbook, to hastily shoot their shot. Certainly A-Rod is one of those to think Jen moved on with a quickness, with his various sad posts and public pleas, but can you blame him... it's J.Lo.
For those wondering what A-Rod had to say about it all, cause ya already know he did. When asked, he simply stated "Go Yankees," so do with that information what you will.
