Sarah Hyland had to give it up for her buddy Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his birthday.
This past weekend the “Modern Family” star posted video of her “MF” co-star Ferguson, officiating her wedding this past August to Wells Adams.
“To be married by @jessetyler was a dream and a privilege. Jesse, you have been such an amazing friend, mentor, and an integral part of our lives. So happy birthday to the best officiant of all time! Our wedding truly would not have been as special without you,” she captioned the celebratory post.
Her kind words were capped off with pink heart emojis.
The clip posted finds Ferguson speaking to the couple, “ Welcome, this is the final rose ceremony! I am Reverend Jesse Tyler Ferguson and I ask you all to now sit down,” which elicited giggles from those in attendance and the soon-to-be married couple.
“Marriage is hard work. It tests your limits – some days asking to bend and be malleable, other days demanding you to root deep and stand strong,” he continued the ceremony. “Marriage is work, and marriage can sometimes be a struggle, but life is a struggle, and struggle generates life and growth and deeper love.”
Ferguson also jumped into the comments section on Hyland’s post writing, “I love you ya weirdo! I’m going to put this on my reel.”
