Archuleta joined Audacy's Let's Go There to discuss his new music, and journey towards discovering and opening up about his sexuality with his Church and the world.

His latest album Therapy Sessions was released in 2020 and was a product of a heavy period in Archuleta's life. “I was already going through therapy so the album was just the result of whatever was coming out from me from my actual therapy sessions," he said. The frustrations and venting [were] converted into songs.”

With how emotional his last album was, Archuleta decided to take a different approach with his new music and it’s the fans who get to benefit. “I’m a very indecisive person,” Archuleta says, “so I released two different versions of it.”

Archuleta dropped the version of “Movin’” you heard above as well as an “After Hours” version. Whichever one you put on, you’re guaranteed to have a good time.

“I just wanted to have fun. Last year was kind of heavy. I released Therapy Sessions about therapy so this year I was like, ‘you know I just want to feel a little more light hearted.’ 2020 was a heavy year in general for everybody so let’s just have a good time.”
