Shownu will not be joining the group during the promo tour due to health concerns. The devastating news was announced via the group's social media. He was diagnosed with "Left Retinal Detachment (Amotio Retinae)" back in July of 2020 and promptly had an emergency surgery, which was successful. Since then, the statement reads: "[he] has been getting his eyes checked regularly to prevent a recurrence as the medical condition is not easy to cure completely."

Most recently, he "felt discomfort in the eye due to excessive exposure to strong lighting" while preparing for their upcoming album and promotional run. He did visit a physician and a complication of the retinal detachment was discovered. "The discomfort was caused by sub-retinal fluid and proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR)," according to the statement. In order to avoid further complication and relapse, he will be "taking off for a considerable amount of time to rest."
