Hi there, I’m Chico – a 10-year-old gentleman looking for love in Austin. My name is Chico because I’m a little guy, weighing in at just over 10 pounds, but what I lack in size I make up for in love! I am affectionate and loyal, and if you give me a fluffy blanket and a place to nap, I’ll be yours forever. So what do you say – should we start a new adventure together? Come meet me today!
I'm Stacy! I know I look young, but can you believe I'm actually 8-years-old? I'm a sweet girl who gets along with other kitties. I came to AHS as a Hurricane Ida evacuee, and now I'm searching for my forever family here in Austin. Could that be you? If so, stop by the shelter and let’s get acquainted!
AHS is open to the public. No appointment necessary. Please maintain 6 feet distance during your visit inside. Masks are required for ALL, regardless of vaccination status. Adopters visit here. Virtual adoption appointments are still available.
AHS welcomed many dogs and cats to the shelter that were evacuated from shelters in Louisiana ahead of Hurricane Ida. You can support the efforts by adopting or by donating here.
