In 2020, the City of Austin's Office of Sustainability launched the Food Justice Mini Grants program. It's aimed at helping to provide funding for projects and programs that are transforming how food gets from farm to forks in Austin communities. Inspirational work being done to help stop food-related inequities, by creating a more just and local food system in Austin!
Here are the 25 Austin area organizations who were awarded a $3K Food Justice Mini Grant to help with their continued success and expansion of their programs. A full report of the impact of their projects will be reported next Summer of 2023.
