A video with Daryl Hannah, who is known for her eco-warrior crusading, was recently shared on her instagram page. Some news outlets have been putting the word out about Mattel going plastic-free with their toys by 2030 starting with Barbie.
The Eco-Warrior Barbie edition inspired by environmental activists including Daryl Hannah, Greta Thunberg, Julia Butterfly Hill, Phoebe Plummer, and Neimonte Nenquimo. They're made from mushrooms and other decompostable materials that won't live forever with the over 1 billion other Barbies in landfills ... WATCH THIS!
Yes, it's a Hoax! Mattel said this hoax has nothing to do with any of their products. A few years ago, Mattel announced that their goal was to achieve 100% recycled, recyclable or bio-based plastic materials in all their products and packaging by 2030.
