Gotta love 2020. After publicly asking for help and offering a $20K reward to find his lost hard drive, which he says he left at an airport, Swae Lee has found himself in a weird virtual stand-off with the person who claims to have it.

What make’s all this even more riveting, is that the individual, who has been sharing videos in disguise wearing a Guy Fawkes mask, is demanding $150,000 if Swae wants to get his drive back, oh and we’ll do you one better, it’s all going down on IG Live.
During an impromptu live session, Swae noticed the user @swaeleeharddrive in the comments, so of course he requested to go live with them.
To prove they were in fact the culprit, the anonymous user showcased the stolen belongings one at a time, including a diamond watch, some cash, and his personal face mask, all while using a distorted voice to mask their identity.
Watching it unfold, Swae was clearly shocked, remaining relatively silent until the the hard drive flashed on screen. “That’s what I like to see,” Swae Lee said in response and eventually asked if he could get in further contact.
Using the same handle on Twitter, the thief promised to “start leaking s*** on god if he don’t pay for what it’s worth,” he wrote. “I need 150 n up for his music.” And followed by admitting “I’m actually a huge fan. This is really a wild dream come true. Ill give the hard drive back if I could get a picture or a feature with @champagnepapi & @swaelee together.”
Okay so as we, and clearly whoever @swaeleeharddrive is, isn’t sure if it’s $150K, a picture, or a feature that they want in exchange for the hard drive. One thing they are certain of is wanting to be left alone. Saying, "stop reporting me you idiots. If they ban me he won’t have a way to get his hard drive back.”
While we’re here for the drama, we’re not for the thievery, do the right thing @swaeleeharddrive and give the man back his things.
