If you listen to The Morning Mix you have heard Sarah Pepper talk about her best friend, Elizabeth. Elizabeth was diagnosed with Breast Cancer during the pandemic and because of COVID wasn't allowed to have anyone go with her to her surgery, she went to chemo alone and when time to ring the bell after her final chemo, she rang it with her chemo nurse. Her family and friends couldn't be there physically to watch or support and like all of those who went through treatment over the past 19 months this is something that you want to share with your family and friends. Elizabeth got to ring the bell at last Sunday's Texas game in honor of all of those who have battled this disease and are still fighting and for those who rang the bell this past year.
