Nearly one year after the release of her latest LP, 30, Adele has dropped the music video for one of the project’s most beloved songs, “I Drink Wine.”

Adele is shown living her best life in the Joe Talbot-directed video, which showcases the 34-year-old sipping on rosé as she floats down a lazy river with her thoughts. The video captures the hopeful lyrics beautifully through synchronized swimmers, beautiful landscape and a steaming sequin dress that drapes over Adele’s inner-tube.
As Adele appears weightless in the video as she sings about taking a more carefree approach to life, it turns out she was rather weighed down during the shoot… by 70 pounds to be exact.
According to a social media post by her stylist for the video, Jamie Mizrahi, a lot went into the wardrobe (and keeping it dry!) “Little did we know the chaos that would ensue with a two day overnight water shoot and a 70 lb. gown that would need to be blow dried in-between every single take,” she shared. “The patience, laughter, hysterics and love that was present throughout this entire process is what I’ll remember forever.”
