After debuting their brand new song “The Girls,” in their latest endeavor, a mobile game BLACKPINK The Game, BLACKPINK officially dropped the track alongside a music video featuring their animated avatars.

In the visual for “The Girls,” featured on the original soundtrack of their mobile game, animated Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé perform lifelike choreography and sing to the beat.
“Live fast, we do it like that / And we don’t lie, we born to be mad / Better come right or never come back / Don’t mess with the girls / With the girls, with the girls,” they sing in the chorus.
As always, the song is a bop, that according to Korea Times, Rosé and Jennie helped co-write and co-compose the track about “the importance of being independent and courageous.”

Drawn to all things BLACKPINK, the Blinks couldn’t keep their praises to themselves, and took to social media with their animated compliments and applauses for the track.
As for BLACKPINK The Game, according to BLACKPINK’s label YG Entertainment it features a management gameplay element, alongside puzzles, mini-games and other exclusive content. “Players will witness the never-seen-before sides of BLACKPINK in a variety of ways. We hope all fans around the world will be able to enjoy the game.”
