After revealing he and girlfriend Kasi Bennett welcomed twin boys Saint Leo and Thunder this past June, Usain Bolt is back with another announcement, that through his very own label, 9.58 Records, he’ll be dropping his debut album this week.

As a consequence of tearing his hamstring at the 2017 World Athletics Championships, Usain bid farewell to the 100-metre track. And after taking a four-year-long hiatus that solely consisted of event appearances and brand endorsements, the Jamaican sprinter is determined to prove that he’s a man of many talents.
After dropping hints that he was “working on some new rhymes,” during a visit to Jamaican radio station Zip 103 FM back in February, he then followed up by dropping singles such as “It's A Party” and “It A Work.”
“Knowing the whole pandemic, we're not trying to rush anything, we're taking our time to make sure the music comes out at the right time,” Usain explained.
“We also have an EP that we are working on, so that should be something interesting. We're just trying to get a foothold, trying to make people understand that we're not just here joking around. We're serious about the music, so we're just going to take our time. Just like in track and field, it's all about work and dedicating and just taking our time.” he concluded.
Guess that time has finally come. “Country Yutes Debut Album Pre- Save 03.09.21 ⚡️⚡️⚡️,” wrote the eight-time Olympic Gold Medallist alongside the albums cover art, which sees him and his childhood friend and manager Nugent 'NJ' Walker hanging out at his home studio.
Hmmm September 3, looks like Drake’s Certified Lover Boy has some competition, lol jk, totally different vibes of course.
