According to People, the 56-year-old actress and mother-of-three is “not ready” to speak about her costar.

The 57-year-old appeared in all six seasons (and returned for two movies) as Stanford Blatch, the spunky best friend of Parker's Carrie Bradshaw.

Earlier this week, Garson passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Several stars of the romantic drama-comedy series shared heartwarming tributes, including Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristen Davis, and Mario Cantone.

On the show, Chris Noth, otherwise known as Mr. Big, posted a picture to his official Instagram page of Garson and Parker on the set of the show.
Noth captioned his tribute that read, “Willie❤️💔.”

Parker did not post a tribute just yet. However, she commented on Noth’s post that read, “Thank you dearest Chris. I’m not ready yet. Xxx.”

Garson’s son announced the tragic news on Instagram.

“I love you so much papa,” his son Nathen, also an actor, wrote on Instagram. “Rest In Peace and I’m so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much ... You always were the toughest and funniest and smartest person I’ve known. I’m glad you shared you’re love with me. I’ll never forget it or lose it.”

In a statement, Michael Patrick King, executive producer of the upcoming reboot, said the Garson had been sick on set over the summer but still gave it his all.

TMZ reported that Garson, born in Highland Park, New Jersey, had been battling cancer for several years, but it was unknown if that was the cause of death.
