Target has announced an exciting new promotion nationwide to encourage people to go out and get vaccinated.

The retail giant is offering a $5 coupon to the store to anyone (including store employees) who gets vaccinated at a Target location, Delish reports.

The coupons will be given out the same day the vaccine is received, and is redeemable after a customer has made a purchase of $5 or more.

There’s only one catch: You must be vaccinated at a Target location that also includes a CVS Pharmacy.

Enter your zip code HERE to find the nearest participating Target location. Click on “Store Info” under each location to learn if that particular Target store includes a CVS Pharmacy.

Head to www.cvs.com/immunizations/covid-19-vaccine to schedule your vaccine appointment today.

The news of the promotion comes as many retailers across the country have dropped their mask mandate for in-store shoppers.

Last week, Target updated its face mask policy, writing on its website that “given the CDC’s updated guidance, Target no longer requires fully vaccinated guests and team members to wear face coverings in our stores, except where it’s required by local ordinances.”

The statement continued, “Face coverings continue to be strongly recommended for guests and team members who are not fully vaccinated and we continue our increased safety and cleaning measures, including social distancing, throughout our stores.”

Other major retailers, including CVS, Costco, Publix, Kroger's, and Trader Joe’s, have ended their face coverings mandate for customers who are fully vaccinated.
