(SportsRadio 610) - Texans safety Justin Reid was officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

On Friday morning, Texans head coach David Culley told reporters Reid remains in the concussion protocol from an injury sustained in last Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Later in the day, Houston's injury report showed Reid is ruled out for Sunday. Also on the injury list as questionable at Jacksonville: running back Rex Burkhead (hip/quad), tight end Brevin Jordan (hand), and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis (hamstring/wrist).

The Texans are also without nine players, including six from the active roster, placed on the COVID-19 list over the past week as the virus forces the NFL to adjust.
