(SportsRadio 610) -- The Texans remain without their two-time Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil after he tested positive for COVID-19 last week, head coach David Culley confirmed Monday.
Tunsil, along fellow offensive linemen Tytus Howard and Roderick Johnson, landed on the reserve COVID-19 list last Friday as the Texans were preparing for the Green Bay Packers in their preseason opener.
Culley indicated Monday that Howard and Johnson could return to practice later this week, but it would take more time for Tunsil.
"Tunsil will not be back right now," Culley said. "He actually tested, so he’s going to be out a little bit longer."
Tunsil has been a Pro Bowl left tackle in his two seasons since being traded from the Miami Dolphins.
Howard has mostly played on the opposite side at right tackle, but could see some time at left guard this season.
Johnson has been a swing tackle for Houston the past few seasons, playing on either side.
