(SportsRadio 610) - The Texans released cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III earlier this week after spending three seasons with the team.
A former first-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2016, Hargreaves was released in 2019 and claimed off waivers by the Texans. He has returned each season since, on one-year deals.
Houston released Hargreaves on Tuesday, and he was claimed off waivers by Thursday. Hargreaves had two interceptions in the last two years as an off-and-on starter for the Texans.
