The Texans are releasing punter Bryan Anger, according to multiple media reports.
Anger had been with the Texans since signing in 2019.
He was due a $2.5 million non-guaranteed salary and carried a $2.9 million cap figure in 2021.
Anger was a third-round draft pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012. He played there until 2015, then was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2016-2018.
