When it comes to Super Bowl, food is the star of the show. Aside from the Big Game, it's all about wings, pizza, and beer.
Ahead of Sunday’s face off between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams, Instacart looked at the top 10 most popular drinks that are sipped on during the game.
The “Snacktime Report” results likely won’t surprise anyone as the big winners are rich, full-flavored beers that pair perfectly with a variety of apps.
To narrow it down to the top 10 beers of the Super Bowl, Instacart looked at what alcohol saw the highest increase in total sales leading up to the 2021 game in comparison to the week before. Per Huffpost, the service also took into account the top alcohol categories purchased the week of.

The report also looked at alcohol categories for the game, and while most of the list is made up of lagers, pale ales, and wheat ales, canned cocktails and hard seltzers also found their way onto the list.
Basically, this means you can forgo making complex cocktails to impress your guests and opt for canned and bottled beverages that are quick and easy to serve!

If you want to figure out what snacks to serve, the report found that chips dominate game-day snacking. Tortilla chips (76%) and potato chips (70%) were the top choice, while bolder flavors like nacho (44%), BBQ (43%), sour cream and onion (38&) and hot and spicy (33%)!
Pair these chip choices with dips like salsa (64%), queso (50%), and guacamole (47%).
And don’t even think about skipping the chicken wings!
Per the report, “last year, the number of orders containing chicken wings doubled on Instacart’s platform during the week leading up to game day with 1 in 25 customers purchasing chicken wings.”
Americans choose fried (33%), drumsticks (44%), and seasoned (28%).
